The Artistic Director's CircleThe concept of the Artistic Director's Circle is to provide for long term financial stability for Shakespeare in the Parks in support of the company's ongoing programs. Businesses and individuals committed to supporting the company over the long term contribute a minimum of $1,000 each year. While not a legal pledge, it is a statement of intent to support Montana Shakespeare in the Parks this year and, circumstances permitting, in future years as well. Members of the Artistic Director's Circle receive special benefits as well as invitations to exclusive events.Shakespeare in the Parks Endowment FundEstablished in 1987 through two matching grants from the Montana Cultural Trust, the Endowment Fund provides a way to support Shakespeare in the Parks for those donors who share a vision for the future and long term stability of the company. Interest earned supports the company's annual operating costs. The company gratefully acknowledges anyone who makes provision for Shakespeare in the Parks as a part of his or her estate planning or who wishes to make a direct gift to the Fund. This is an excellent opportunity to support Shakespeare in the Parks today and to perpetuate the company well into the future.Business Partnerships On The Road to Birney, MontanaMontana Shakespeare in the Parks is proud to have business partnership opportunities available for nearly any size of business both local and corporate.Although each community in which we perform is charged a sponsorship fee based on its population, this cover only 25% of the actual cost of bringing these performances directly to your communities. Our performances remain free to all and our two highly acclaimed education programs exist thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses like yours. These partnerships at all levels help ensure the future of our programs for family and youth in Montana and vicinity. They also entitle you and your company to special benefits based on the level of the gift. If you are interested in learning more about Business Partnerships, please contact Kathy Jahnke at 406-994-1220 or email kjahnke@montana.edu. In-Kind GivingMontana Shakespeare in the Parks depends on generous donations from individuals and business partnerships in order to continue to bring high quality productions to our audiences. However, not all contributions are in the form of hard, cold cash. In-kind giving refers to contributions of goods and services that are of value to a nonprofit organization. Businesses do it, corporations do it, and so do individual donors. All in-kind donations receive the same benefits as cash donations. Possible business partnership in-kind donations include hosting a fund raising event, housing for actors, directors and designers, vehicles, publicity, building materials, food, sewing machines. For more information, please contact Kathy Jahnke at 406-994-1220 or email at kjahnke@montana.edu.All donations should include a completed In-Kind Donation Form (click here) so your donation can be properly recorded and you may be properly thanked. | ![]() Artistic Director Joel Jahnke and Advisory board member Elise Donohue at the 2010 SIS Elise EventSupport MSIPThere are many ways to support Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Gifts of Cash The simplest way to give. MSIP also has a monthly pledge gift system. Bequest The easiest way to support MSIP and create a lasting legacy without the risk of outliving your assets is to include a bequest in your will or trust. Gifts of Real Estate For property that is paid off and has appreciated in value, an outright gift may be the simplest solution. Gifts of Securities Check with your broker to determine the best stocks to donate. Charitable Gift Annuities Receive guaranteed fixed income for life that is secure from the fluctuations of a volatile market, often at a higher rate of return than other assets. Charitable Remainder Trusts Receive regular income during the trust term, at the end of which, the remaining assets pass on to MSIP. Beneficiary Designations Continue supporting MSIP even after your lifetime by naming us as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance or insurance annuity assets. Memorial and Honorary Gifts If you have a family member or friend whose life has been touched by MSIP, we hope you'll consider making a gift to us in honor of that person. Endowed Gifts Discover a powerful way to make a gift to us in your name or in the name of a loved one while realizing tax benefits for your kindness. Give Your Home, But Live There for Life Find out how you can make a gift to MSIP of a remainder interest in your home, receive sizable tax benefits now and continue living in your home for the rest of your life. Donor Advised Funds Access the giving power of a private foundation without the expense or complexity. Added benefits to planned giving.... You can specify the purpose of your gift (MSIP stage, actor salaries, costumes, etc.) and the program (SIP, SIS or MONTANA SHAKES!) that will benefit from your donation.
